Astrael Privacy Policy

About Astrael
Astrael is a personal astrology and reflection app. There is no sign-up, cloud sync, advertising or usage analytics. Every reading, date and report is available at no charge in this version. In-app purchases are not offered; RevenueCat may still validate an existing subscription from an earlier version so it can be managed. Stardust purchases and Ask your sky are not enabled in this release.
Information stored on your device
Astrael stores the name you choose, birth date, birth time and accuracy, selected birthplace, saved people's birth details, residence city, onboarding answers, journal entries and moods, Moon intentions, daily-card history, preferences and cached purchase status. Optional onboarding answers may include gender, relationship status and topics of interest. These details are used to calculate charts and personalise your experience on this device.
Data collection and sharing
Charts and birthplace search use bundled resources. Astrael does not collect usage analytics or use cookies for tracking. We do not send names, birth dates, times or places, onboarding answers, relationship details, saved people's details, journal text or moods, Moon intentions, notification text or exact dates viewed to an analytics provider. We do not sell personal information. Our public privacy, terms and data-deletion pages contain no analytics scripts, tracking pixels or cookie consent prompts. We do not use these pages to track visitors.
Permissions and sharing
Notification permission is optional and is used for reminders scheduled locally. Reminders may display personal reading text on your lock screen; you can disable them in Settings or your device settings. Cities are selected manually; Astrael does not request GPS access. When you choose to share a chart image, your selected app receives that image. Share cards omit birth date, time and place; check the image before sharing. Files exported or shared outside Astrael are controlled by you and the receiving service.
Stardust wallet
Stardust purchases and the cloud wallet are disabled in this release. All readings and reports are available without spending Stardust. The app does not create a Firebase Authentication account for the wallet while these features remain disabled. Earlier store purchase records may remain with RevenueCat and the purchase store as described under Purchases.
Ask your sky (optional)
Ask your sky is not available in this release. No questions or chart facts are sent to an AI service while it is disabled. If a later release enables this feature, its notice, data handling and user choices will be provided before use.
Storage, retention and deletion
Your entered details remain in app storage until deleted. Protect your device and backups. Settings → Delete all my data removes your profile, saved people, journal, onboarding answers, intentions, daily-card history, preferences and cached purchase status. Scheduled reminders are cleared. This does not remove exported images, device backups or store purchase history. There is no sign-up account to delete. For data deletion requests, contact subsetapp@gmail.com without including birth details or journal text unless needed to handle your request.
Existing subscriptions
This version does not offer new in-app purchases. If you have an active subscription from an earlier version, Apple or Google processes its payments and RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, transaction receipts and tokens, subscription status and app/device technical information to validate it. We do not send birth details or journal content to RevenueCat. Payment card details are handled by your store and are not provided to Astrael. Purchase records may be retained by RevenueCat and the stores for validation, restoration, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Contact subsetapp@gmail.com for requests about purchase data; store records are managed by Apple or Google. Deleting app data does not cancel an existing subscription or erase store transaction history. Use your App Store account settings to manage or cancel an Apple subscription.
Changes and contact
For privacy questions or support, contact subsetapp@gmail.com. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include; we use it to respond to your request and retain it only as needed for support and legal obligations. Gmail processes these messages under its own policies. Do not send birth details or journal content unless necessary for your request. Changes to data handling will be reflected in this policy and the store disclosures before release.
